| Exploring the Northern mysteries | |
I'm proud to say I have reached the level of Rune Mentalist I -- which is to say I have moved through the first year of intensive Viking Runes study under the wonderful and knowledgeable Ragnar of Alaska. The intensity of energy and information I have been blessed with is truly overwhelming and I see the shapes of the runes more and more often as I walk in Nature. They were there all along, but I was asleep to their Northern mysteries. I access the runes in establishing themes of energy in certain readings for you, and the answers resonate very loudly with what's going on. I am approaching my second year of study with a humble and open mind -- there is so much ancient knowledge to re-member.
I have always been a stone and rock person, feeling impulsed to take a certain stone home with me, to put them in respectful places in my home and office. It was natural then that some of these stones I've had for years would be painted to become my own set of handmade runes, one of the assignments. My runes have been initiated under thunder, rain, moonlight, on a mountain ledge, and in many shaman circles, as well as in my own hands.

I think this Tall Thought is about space really. You only have so much space and time – at least in the Tick-tock world as Stuart Wilde calls it (and if you haven’t read any of Stuart Wilde, you’re missing something). So you need to occupy the SPACE that’s truly YOURS, that fits you like a kid glove- and I’m not just talking about physical space but that too—I’m talking about mental, emotional, and even social space.
